The tour is approximately 4 hours. This provides ample time to drive the full 23-mile Rim Rock Drive, stop at all the major overlooks for photos, and visit the Visitor Center without feeling rushed.

No, the National Park Service charges a separate commercial entry fee. For a commercial sedan tour (1-6 passengers), the fee is typically $25.00 for the vehicle plus $15.00 per person (16 and older). If you have an “America the Beautiful” Annual Pass, please bring it, as it may cover the per-person portion of the fee depending on current park policies.

This is primarily a sightseeing driving tour. However, many of the overlooks (like Cold Shivers Point and Grand View) involve short, flat walks on paved or gravel paths to get to the railing. We can customize the stops based on your mobility levels.

Rim Rock Drive does have significant drop-offs. However, being in a large, substantial truck like the Sierra EV often provides a greater sense of security than a small car. We drive at a slow, leisurely pace, and you can choose which overlooks you want to walk out to.

We provide door-to-door pickup from your hotel or home in Grand Junction, Fruita, or Palisade. We will drive to the closest entrance (either Fruita or Grand Junction) to start the loop and drop you back off at your doorstep when we are finished.
