Choose six hours for a mountain day built around your priority stops, or eight hours for a slower pace and more time to explore. Both give you the full reserved time from pickup to drop-off, including travel from the valley, agreed stops and return. Seasonal roads and lodge openings shape the route.

Your package gives you the full reserved time from pickup to drop-off, with a private driver and Sierra EV Denali for the whole agreed plan.
Personal coordination, vehicle charging, vehicle care, maintenance and insurance are covered by the package price.
Meals, activity bookings and any access or admission fees are separate. Longer stops, extra driving or time beyond the agreed reservation may come at an additional charge after discussion. Gratuity is optional.

Is the Grand Mesa day a guided nature tour?
It is a private driving arrangement. You choose the scenery and stops that interest you, and explore independently when you get out. The driver handles transportation and agreed meeting points, not guided hikes or nature interpretation.
Can you help us decide where to stop on Grand Mesa?
Yes. Tell us whether lakes, scenic viewpoints, a lodge meal or time for an independent walk sounds best. We can suggest popular options such as Mesa Lakes, Island Lake, Grand Mesa Lodge and Alexander Lake Lodge, then help select stops around your package time, seasonal openings and road access. A finished itinerary is not needed to get started.
Is Lands End Observatory always included?
No. The side trip is considered only when roads are open, conditions are suitable and there is enough reserved time. A descent on Lands End Road is not assumed; any such route needs advance agreement.
Can we go to Grand Mesa in winter or autumn?
Seasonal outings can be discussed, but conditions change the experience. Snow can limit side roads and lakeside access, while autumn color varies by date and elevation. We plan around the roads and stops available for your visit.
Can we have lunch at a mountain lodge?
A lodge meal can be part of the plan when the venue is open and your reservation allows enough time. Check dining availability directly with the venue. Meals and drinks are paid separately.
Do we need to hike during the mountain day?
No. The outing can focus on scenic driving and short stops. If you want a walk, choose one suited to your ability and agree on the meeting point and time. Trail guiding and backcountry transport are not included.
What should our group bring for Grand Mesa?
Bring layers for changing mountain weather, comfortable shoes, sun protection and any personal supplies. Tell the driver about larger bags or equipment before booking; the private vehicle carries up to four passengers.
Should we book six or eight hours for Grand Mesa?
The six-hour package is $600 and focuses on your priority mountain stops. The eight-hour package is $800 and allows more time for lakes, a lodge meal, independent walks or an agreed side trip. Both give you the full six or eight hours from pickup to drop-off, including driving, time at stops and return. Lands End access is reviewed separately and is not guaranteed by choosing the longer package.
